I am really into the coated jeans trend. The subtle shine makes them look dressy enough for work without sacrificing the comfort of jeans. A couple of months ago I ordered a pair of the Simply Vera Wang coated skinny jeans in plum and I liked them so much I decided to order another pair in mink. The shine on the mink pair is much more muted than the plum. Online, the photo appears to be a dark gray but the pants are more of a taupe hue.

Heading out the door for work, I took a few pictures of the mink jeans paired with a cute high low top I found at Ross Dress For Less for only $11.99. The upper part of the top is a knit fabric and the bottom portion is semi sheer. A taupe pointed toe heel and silver and dark gray jewelry complete this monochromatic look. Of course I had to add just a touch of edginess with my spike bracelet!
