Get the Look Makeup Edition: Naked & Nude

I love playing around with one of my favorite eye shadow palettes: the much hyped Naked 2 by Urban Decay.  The neutral colors are so easy to combine, the quality of the shadow is excellent, and in my opinion, well worth all the hype. Check out how I used the Naked 2 Palette and other products to get the soft neutral look below. (*Update* See updated Naked 3 Palette Swatches Here!)

Naked & Nude: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette & Nude Lipstick in Mac Till Tomorrow

Foundation:
COVERGIRL Queen Collection All Day Flawless Foundation in Toffee  mixed with
Cover Girl Queen Collection Natural Hue Liquid Foundation in Toffee Caramel
Real Techniques Buffing Brush Core Collection SetI find that the SPF in the All Day Flawless Foundation gives a white cast to my skin.  I mix it with an equal amount of the Natural Hue Foundation in Toffee Caramel (which is a bit darker with yellow undertones) to warm up the color.  I applied the mixture with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush which comes in the  Real Techniques Core Collection Set.

Primadonna Tip: Mixing liquid foundation can be a great way to customize makeup to create a better match for your skin tone; but what can you mix it in?  Purchase a  cheap palette online or from your local art supply store for a convenient mixing surface. Don't forget to wash and sanitize your palette regularly to kill bacteria that could cause breakouts.
