Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette |
I skipped the original Naked palette and opted for the taupe neutrals of Naked 2 which I love, love love. If you missed that, check it out here: (
Get the Look Makeup Edition: Naked & Nude). When I heard Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette had finally arrived at Sephora online, I immediately put it on my Christmas List.
When I was emailed a $15 off
Beauty Insider Coupon, I decided to treat myself to an early Christmas gift before my coupon expired on December 15th. When Naked 3 hit Sephora stores on December 12th, I was at my local Sephora bright and early to get mine before it sold out.
The latest Naked palette features twelve new rose-hued neutrals.

Primer Potion Samples

Naked 3 also includes a double-ended shadow/blending brush AND an eye shadow Primer Potion sampler with resealable samples of all four formulas (original, Sin, Eden and new Anti-Aging). Each sample holds about a week's worth of Primer.
Here are swatches of the twelve colors from Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette

The first six colors get a little lost on my skin tone. I will definitely be using a white base (NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk) to make these colors show up better. My favorite of this bunch so far is Burnout. It makes a great subtle inner eye highlight. I have used Strange as a brow bone highlight and Limit as a transition color. I need to play around a bit more with Dust, Buzz, and Trick. |

The second half of the palette is my favorite. Liar and Mugshot look similar when swatched, but they have subtle differences. I've been using Factory and Mugshot as lid colors, Darkside as a crease color, and Blackheart in the outer v of the lid. I am looking forward to playing with these more as well as mixing them with my Naked 2 Palette.

Will you be getting Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette?
Gorg! I think I'll try the naked 2 palette first.
ReplyDeleteGood choice, that one is excellent!
DeleteVery pretty. You should post a tutorial on eye shadow techniques / tips.
ReplyDeleteThank you, that's a great idea. Any specific questions?
