Primadonna Style: Catherine Malandrino for DesigNation Gored Ponte Dress

I purchased this Catherine Malandrino dress to wear to an evening holiday function in December.
I wanted to get a little more wear out of it before spring so to make it more casual and wearable for daytime, I layered it with my Marc New York Military Vest.

This dress has a lot of interesting details including a gored skirt, a lace godet hem with contrasting underlay, and long lace sleeves. I opted to keep the look more casual by not accessorizing with a necklace and allowing the various textures in the dress to take center stage.
