When I saw ShoeDazzle Brandi leopard booties, it was love at first sight. I had no clue what I would wear them with, I just knew that I had to have these shoes in my life!
I ordered my normal size, only to discover that when they arrived that they run slightly small. I sent them back and exchanged my normal 7.5 for a size 8.
Once I got the sizing right, I decided to try styling these booties with a flirty Ponte Colorblock Fit and Flare Dress in Black/Cobalt . I had the highest hopes, but the fit of the dress was much too junior for my taste. I returned it, hoping that I'd eventually run across a piece that I felt would work with this unique shoe. If all else failed, then there was always basic black. Then I remembered that I actually already had a cropped sweater in the same blue as the shoe.....
Yes, I had the solution in my closet all along; a simple crop sweater and high waist skirt that doesn't clash or overpower the shoe, but allows it to be the star of the show! I don't often wear this draped pencil skirt, so finding a new way to wear something I haven't worn in awhile is a major plus. Take some time out this week and try shopping your closet lovelies, you might see something old in a new light!
