OOTD: Sky

One of my students exclaimed "You look like sky!" when she saw me wearing this monochromatic pale blue ensemble.  "Well, I suppose that's not a bad thing right?" I responded.  Hence today's OOTD title. :)

 I love that pastels are no longer considered just spring colors. An icy pale blue works quite nicely as a cold weather color; especially when combined with silver toned accessories.

You know how some people can spend hours searching thrift stores for the perfect find?  That's how I feel about my local Ross Dress for Less. Even when I travel to other states, I make time to find a Ross Dress for Less for a little bargain shopping. I just love the feeling of finding a piece that makes my heart skip a beat for a fraction of what it would have cost at a department store. My latest find is this plush faux fur jacket by Fever.

The muted color, soft texture, and subtle detailing make it look like a more expensive piece.
